At Torinco, the construction of the security components of our windows and the materials used in them have a high level of basic security.

The fittings, in strength classes WK1, WK2 and WK3, make up a multi-level concept of security which, without compromising the design, meets the requirements of the DIN V ENV 1627 standard (German security standard). This classification is based on the effective time of the attempt to open the window and the tools used.

The longer the time taken and the more complex the tools, the higher the level of security, starting at WK1 and ending at the maximum of WK8 for armoured doors. The most secure fittings include additional steel clasps round the whole perimeter of the leaves. For complete security, the fittings will be accompanied by a glass appropriate to the desired level of security, diverse compositions being available ranging from basic security, through vandal proof glass to high performance bulletproof glass.
